Creative Director & Founder
Matt started his career in arts marketing before taking on a role as an in-house videographer. However his real passion lies in portraying stories through film and photography.
Leaving his full time job behind, Matt decided to follow his heart and take the freelancing route. Starting out with only one client and a DSLR camera Matt worked tirelessly to build up his portfolio. Leaving his hometown behind, Matt made the move to London to set up Copper Productions. In May 2016, he took on Sam Palmer as his business partner. The work of Copper Productions has now been seen in cinemas worldwide, across news and television channels and via online media.
Matt continues to grow Copper Productions but the values remain the same, namely building up strong relationships with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve and delivering on each and every project in a timely, artistic and unique way.
Executive Producer & Co-Owner
Sam has over 10 years worth of experience working within the media industry, starting off as an editor and cinematographer, before working his way up to producing.
For over 6 years he had worked with the AKA Group, collaborating with clients from the arts, culture and entertainment sectors such as the BFI, the Natural History Museum, the Royal Opera House, Sonia Friedman Productions, Donmar Warehouse and the Royal Shakespeare Company to name a few.
Sam has a wealth of experience in creating TVCs, cinema advertisements, online promos, outdoor digital content and trailers. His work has been been distributed and seen by millions across the UK, the United States and the rest of the world.
